Documentary cooperation    ERNO news exchange     Global Program Exchange-GLOMEX    ERNO self-sustainability
Tomorrow, today, next week. ERNO office starts its work with the planning of the forthcoming events in the region, on weekly and daily basis. Planning is based on the information we get from national news agencies, international organizations and TV-stations. The basic way of communication is by e-mail, messenger services and by phone. Each day ERNO content is decided about in the ERNO office and it is done based upon requests and offers of the member TV-stations.
The exchanged material is made by TV-crews on the field. Each TV-station prepares the stories for its own programme, but then they are also specially edited for ERNO, according to the interest of other TV-stations. Those items are send via satellite at 16:25 CET to Eurovision headquarter in Geneva

and broadcasted according to the agreed items list until 16:40 CET. In the end, TV-viewers of South-East Europe and wider, watch the material in their national news-bulletins. We know that the material could many times be better. Stations need more advanced equipment and additional education does not harm anyone which is why we are looking for opportunities and funds to develop capacities and resources of the network.

ERNO organizes professional trainings and co-production projects. Five ERNO documentaries have been made in co-production with our PSB network : WOMEN TRAFFICKING (2006), GREEN PARADISE: ALREADY LOST OR STILL POSSIBLE TO BE REGAINED (2007), YOUTH VOICES: (UN)EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES (2007), WHAT THE EU MEANS TO US? (2008), BALKANS' VISION OF THE EUROPEAN DREAM" (2009) and four 25-minutes long episodes of the documentary "CULTURAL HERITAGE IN THE SOUTHEAST EUROPE" – PRESERVATION, COMMUNICATION, TOURISM and DAILY LIFE (2010). Two co-production of feature stories have been completed on HIV/AIDS issues (2007) and HUMAN RIGHTS (2008) after the preparation trainings.
