Finalization of the project EU integrations project funded by the European Commission
ERNO EC project including the training and co-production on the EU integrations of the ERNO member countries in the SEE was finalized in October 2009 with the final documentary comprised of 2 episodes. The documentary “The Balkans’ Vision of the European Dream” is the result of the unique co-production involving 11 ERNO member PSBs focusing on the main challenges the Western Balkans countries face on the road towards the EU and whether the EU accession is the solution for all the problems Western Balkans countries are coping with at the moment. First part of the documentary presents the perspective of the Western Balkans countries, EU candidates and potential candidates, whereas the second part gives an overview of the situation in four EU member states belonging to the ERNO network, including the two newest members, Romania and Bulgaria.
Promotional event of the documentary “The Balkans’ Vision of the European Dream” and the end of the project for the representatives and guests from RTV SLO – Radio Television of Slovenia as the ERNO partner and ERNO member PSB, European Commission, UNESCO, EBU and other media guests in the SEE region was held in Sarajevo on October 29, 2009. The participants of the promotional event have been able to watch the trailer for the documentary and be involved in the working discussion on the results of the joint regional co-production, ways of improving it in the future and regional media needs for this kind of cooperation in the field of documentaries’ production.
